Our Story

 My name is Patty Garegnani, and I am the business owner of Graceful Revolution and inventor of the patent pending Cavvy Cover® nursing cover.  Also, I am a Fashion Designer that loves to sew and create, wife, and a stay at home mom to my little cutie pie Cavvy (yes, it's named after her) and another sweet blessing is due in February 2015. 
 
Back in 2010 in the beginning months of my two year journey of breastfeeding Cavvy, I realized after many embarrassing and frustrating times when I was nursing her that there was a desperate need for a nursing cover that worked really well.

It was after the day of my nephew's high school graduation and a terribly embarrassing episode there that changed everything.  There I was at an outdoor High School Graduation Ceremony, stuck in the middle a crowd of a few thousand people with a hungry, fussing 5 month old baby- trying to discreetly breastfeed with a tiny little nursing over that already could barely cover me, but the darn thing wouldn't stay in place and kept flapping up in the wind!  The people around me were getting an eyeful of what was going on under that nursing cover, and as a fairly modest lady I was pretty embarrassed.  Even though it was chilly out that day, the sweat rolled down my face and back as I struggled to hold my baby while nursing, and then trying to keep that nursing cover down- I just wanted to cry!

So that night as I lay in bed reflecting on that embarrassing day, I thought about why don't I just make my own nursing cover!  I sprung out of bed to write down every solution I could think of that would fix the many problems that were going on with that lame one I was using, and the Cavvy Cover® was born.

After a few years of product development, determination and hard work, I am so very happy to be able to have these amazing Cavvy Covers® for you Mommies out there that like to use a nursing cover while breastfeeding out and about. 
For me personally, after I created my first Cavvy Cover® prototype, I used it all the time when I was nursing in public and it was an absolute life saver!  My daughter was (and still is) a high energy little thing, and for me a nursing cover was a soothing way to keep her from being distracted and more focused while nursing.

I sincerely hope that my nursing cover will help make your lives while breastfeeding a lot easier!
